Clinical Pilates

Do you feel the need to be more aware of your body?

Not sure which exercises you can or cannot do given your clinical situation?

Want to learn how to correct your posture?

We can help you! We are physiotherapists trained in Clinical Pilates according to the method of the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI.)

This method allows:

– Knowing our body and respecting its limitations during exercises and daily activities

– Know ways to respect the body and avoid injuries during exercises

– Know how to correct posture before and during exercises

– Know some precautions to be taken on a day-to-day basis, given the clinical situation

– Respect the principles of rehabilitation during physical activity

– Realizing that our muscles have different functions and that this must be respected during exercises

– Working the body, through strengthening, flexibility/mobility work, among others.

Clinical Pilates exercises are based on scientific evidence related to spinal and joint stability. In this way, the basis of clinical Pilates is centered on the permanent activation of muscles that are important to stabilize and protect our spine and joints.
